Poll Results - No hell no!

It's really not a surprise, but just kind of sad...100% of voters in our recent poll said they would not buy Preschoolians again. 73% said "No, hell no" which really comments on the state of affairs over there.

I think that the main reason, quite simply, is the long waits for shoes. It shouldn't take a month to receive an online purchase, especially something which Preschoolians suggests should be replaced every three months. Does anyone agree or am I crazy?

Please take a second to vote in our new poll, asking what you think is the best alternative to Preschoolians. We appreciate your comments and suggestions as well.

Regarding the new poll... I doubt most people have experienced all of the brands listed. I've only bought See Kai Run, haven't tried the others, but I've been very pleased so I voted for SKR. :-)

I've been looking for an alternative to Preschoolians. My problem is that I have twins and their discount is what allows me to put these shoes on their feet. I simply can't afford $35-$49 for shoes when I'm having to but two to three at a time! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Regarding twins, perhaps other companies haven't thought of such a discount but would be open to it. I would send an email or call a company like See Kai Run and suggest the idea telling them it would encourage you to switch from Preschoolians. Just a thought.

I voted No Hell No!!! on Preschoolians. I'm not sure what their problem is but it won't be my future problem!

We are on our third pair of Bobux, for indoor use only. We have used Angel (cheap first outdoor shoes)and Preschoolians (2 pair, each outgrown quickly, with so-so quality)We did get a pair of UGG fur booties as a gift. They twist on her foot as she walks, then wind up as a furry teether. Yuk!

I had not heard of the See Kai Run, but will order those next. How does the width run? We need wide.

The Bobux are well tolerated by our 15 month old- they are the only thing we can use to keep socks on her feet, They also use non toxic dyes and processes on the leather. Good for mouthy babies or toddlers. Think of them as bedroom or indoor shoes for walkers though..

See Kai Run shoes are nice and wide. My 15-month old seems to have really wide feet and the SKR's are plenty roomy. They're also roomy in the toe area, so no squished-up piggies. It's worth giving them a try anyway, and if they don't work out you can always return them. But I'm certain you will love them. Did I mention the leather smells delicious? Like an expensive handbag, mmmmmmm!

Pedipeds (pedipedsbabyshoes.com) are a nice alternative for younger children. They have a double layered leather bottom that works well even outdoors and they have ADORABLE styles. My daughter wore them until she was 2, but has outgrown their largest size now. Anybody know of shoes for LARGER feet (ie. size 8 and up)?

Pedipeds have a line for larger feet called "Flex". I haven't tried them - but I've always been super pleased with the original Pedipeds!!
