Working every day to lose our trust

I finally got an update on my order status. It's been about 3 weeks now since I placed the order. Basically, it just said that my order had been shipped and would arrive sometime next week. Contrast that with many online retailers who send you a tracking number immediately and tell you exactly when your merchandise will arrive (as I experienced with Tutti Bella, see yesterday's post). My point is that they really have no clue where my shoes are or when they'll arrive. I have confirmed with at least 3 other Former Preschoolians Fans (FPFs) that they have received the SAME generic response when inquiring about their shoes.

Then thing that really made me upset was the last line of the email. The customer service rep said "We trust our customers and work every day to earn and keep your trust". I know you will all have something to say about that.

First pair I ordered came in about 10 days. Last pair took WAY to much aggravation and time to get. What really ticked me off was the deceptive way they handled shipping. I called the USPS and the tracking info was definitely not valid, because there is no Priority Mail service from China. Don't count on getting your order soon because of a tracking email! It is a gimmick to placate customers.

There are laws regarding mail order business-
They are supposed to refund your money promptly if they cannot ship within 30 days- you can take issue with your credit card co if needs be.
here is the link to the FTC 30 day rules: http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/pubs/buspubs/mailorder.htm

Thanks for setting up this blog- I already am looking at some of the other brands- they look promising. I'll never order from preschoolians again, even though the shoes were pretty good.

You know, I had placed an order that was over a month and a half late in coming. Fed up, I finally canceled the order. I spoke to an actual live person at PS that credited my card for the full amount of my order, but a day later I got an email saying that I could cancel my order, but they would keep a $5 PER PAIR "restocking fee."

Thank goodness I had already gotten the credit back on my card, because if they had charged me $25 for 5 pairs of shoes that I NEVER GOT, I would have gone APE!

I am never ever buying from this company again.
